I wanted it badly to be Bama. To be that best you have to beat the best. It would not have been as enjoyable if it was Cincy. Going though Michigan and Bama made it special. Having beaten Clemson to start the year also was nice, even if they were down this past year.

I would have much rather played Texas A&M in the SECCG and beat Ohio State in the NCG than playing Bama both times. Bama fans need multiple regular season losses in consecutive years for some humble pie

No way ... it would not have been the same. We would not have gotten over the Bama bump. This isn't to say we won't lose to them again ... as long as Saban is there they will be a top team. But no way do I want the gumps making excuses ... "the only way you could win a Natty is us not being in it" ... that kind of shit. Hell, their whining about losing their receivers and all the excuses they are making are bad enough. It would worse had they not gotten there.

We are 3-1 in CFP appearances with loss in double OT on a great play by Tua. I am very glad to have played Bama and hope to get them again next year.
