Love this game.
Never can settle on who to cheer for. Of the family and friends who have served...about half were Navy and half were Army.

Army was the only academy that didn’t give my daughter a medical waiver so we are all Navy today.

I went to the 1995 Game at the Vet, when Army had a goal line stand and drove 99 yards for the winning TD and a 14-13 victory.
I have also been to:
@ Army MBB vs. Columbia (1995).
@ Navy football game vs. Duke (1996).
@ Ohio State football game vs. Army (2017).
True Story:
Ironically, Army's only TD in the game @ Ohio State was a 99 yard drive! What an oddity to have seen Army drive 99 yards for a TD in both games I have attended. Might be the only two 99 yard drives I have seen for a TD in my entire CFB life in person.
When Army took over the ball on the one yard-line, I mentioned to my wife that I had seen Army score the winning TD vs. Navy in 1995 on a 99 yard drive. The Ohio State lady in front of us, just chuckled about that. After Army drove the field for the TD, she turned and said: "Good call!" I have my moments.

And they TRULY mean it when they say this win is more important than all of the other games combined. (1-11) with a win over the other is better than (11-1) with a loss to the other. This is not the case in any other rivalry. For example, Alabama (13-1 with the loss @ Auburn) wouldn't trade their 2017 CFB-AP, etc. National Championship for a win over Auburn and a (1-11) record.
