I like almost all of Dylan's songs. He is one of the best songwriters ever.

Meh, they seemed cool enough the times I’ve been around them. You make it sound like they’re jugalos or something.

but do you know a lot of people who listen to his music for more than the lyrics? For the actual instrumental portion?

I get it just fine. Parrotheads aren’t that obnoxious though, at least not the ones I’ve been around

I figured they were just there having a good time too...but a different type of people.

there are fandoms for anything. I went to a Renaissance Festival a few weeks ago and the folks dressed up and partying there were having a helluva time

So is Phish. The point was that for those fans it’s all good. If you’re not one of those fans it’s weird/annoying/ambivalence….whatever.

The average Parrothead is a 50+ year old professional with grandchildren and back problems. That will usually mellow people right out.
