ATM's next 7 games ... can Dumbo survive?

I’d take coach O in a heartbeat but I doubt he’d ever come to Morgantown.
Thatd be a heluva match, I seen Deion Sanders name thrown out there by some WVU fans as a replacement for Brown should the money to cut bait with him be found (not likely but...), he has some connections with WVU being Noel Devines Godfather and they may be able to get him on the cheap at first and after they spent that much parting with Brown they 'would have to go that route .... maybe he could help with some recruits but :noidea: just found that one interesting.

Nebraska will pick him up,
They could (and have) done worse... ALOT worse actually.

I thought he did a solid job at his stops all n all but once that coaching cupboard at LSU got raided he was a had lad.

If WVU could get dion I’d bet he’d last 3 years max. Ether bail to a better program or get let go for violations.

Change at QB for AM is needed. King is awful. He is 110th in QBR with a 33.1. This is against Sam Houston State and App State. Aggies and Jimbo need to right this ship soon.
100%. Max isn't that great and you can't flip from a RH to a LH QB mid game. Don't want to burn up the true freshman either, yet. But Haynes looks skittish back there. Not having our starting C is also causing issues, but not all of them.

I've seen it written that part of the problem is that NIL has affected the culture. Could be 100% bullshit, but something ain't right when you lose to App State at home. If that is the case, you might see an exodus of that class before it even gets a chance to play.

I agree. The flip side is IF Miami wins, the wheels will fall slap off the bus with the main question being who gets the most transfers from that highly ranked recruiting class.
Geee -- I wonder who gets all the transfers..............I'm going out on a limb and saying Bama, Georgia, Ohio State. :shrug:

Saban warned everyone that the transfer portal would make the rich richer. He was right.

Coaches are expensive and some universities are really stupid when they're chasing some of them.

Michigan is taking the opposite approach. We only accept grad transfers, because our administration is full of fucking morons, who won't accept credit transfers from other schools toward a Michigan degree:wtf:

I actually believe that. One thing you don’t want is a group of 18 years olds who have been told their shit doesn’t stink and then hand them big wads of cash and make it ok to splash it.

Some of these kids talents will be squandered because it all came too early. Plus you got the guys that didn’t get paid going through the exact same shit at practice and thinking fuck this.

The NIL was a horrible idea that eventually will do more harm than good.

The way that NIL was approached at ATM and others wasn't good. Where teams have maintained their culture and rewarded existing players with NIL the jury is still out. At the end of the day, in 5 years we will yawn when people mention NIL. Of course, the schools will be paying players by then.

I think we are headed to regulation where players are put under contract, are paid and as part of that "salary" they will give up their NIL to the school for the length of their contract in return and the portal will be further revised as well.

There will be additional changes like a guaranteed 4-year scholarship (unless they do stupid crap like get arrested) and expanded healthcare coverage for people with injuries.

The only thing that could stop this from potentially happening is title 9 and what you do with the other sports.

They will never have to give their NIL to the school. No other student has to do that who is an employee of the school, why would athletes?

I agree on the healthcare coverage. Other than that, how they get paid is anyone's guess. My best guess would be there will be some type of collective bargaining.

Shit, watch the Aggies come out like their asses and balls are on fire and beat the Canes like 38-17. Then, every team that A&M beats will have the "damn you lost to the team that App State beat" tag.

Bububububutttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt, Jimbo is a QB whisperer.

#13 Miami
#10 Arkansas
@Miss State
@#2 Bama
@South Carolina
#20 Ole Miss
#18 UF

I can see them losing 5, 6, or 7 of these games. If they lose that many, does ATM have the money to pay $75 million to fire him?

Before you Aggies get all pissy ... who knows, maybe losing to App was an aberration and you win all those games. But, damn, that's not an easy 7 game run ... even the cocks might get it up and jump out at you after the @Bama game.

They got that recruiting class though.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off if you see a bunch of them jump into the portal like rats off a sinking ship when this goes down in flames
