The question will be -- can Ryan Day win with his own recruits? He proved he could win with Urban Meyer's. He could beat up the less talented teams with his recruits, but OSU played two teams who could play physical this year and they both manhandled OSU.

UM doesn't have a skill position player that'd start for OSU, yet UM put up 42 on OSU. That's what OSU should be worried about.

A team like Iowa is never going to be able to keep pace with Bama, OSU, Georgia, etc. Neither is Wisconsin, Minny, Nebraska or Illinois. Now with NIL rules, it’s going to be even more difficult.

Iowa averages 3 star recruiting classes yet still puts more players into the NFL than all but about 6 or 7 college teams. Even with that potential, kids are still choosing the sexy teams over iowa. Sucks sometimes, but it is what it is.

No doubt. I'm content with being b1gw contenders, hopefully we win one of them.
