B1G decision to be announced Tuesday

THink the reason why the late start is because MD can't practice yet due to covid rules or something.. but that's just a guess

As dumb as the B1G has been, it wouldn't shock me.... But how can you win a division without playing a third of the competition?
It's only 8 games too.. But yeah I would think it would be divisional.. keep it as regional as possible.. not sure if NJ is closer to Columbus than Lincoln

8 games plus a conference championship.

6 divisional games (so you can legitimately crown a divisional winner). 2 cross division games. It's not hard. It's just like what we were doing a couple years ago.

Congrats, guys.....

So
Did the B1G tell the Michigan Governor to fuck off??
The Michigan Governor never had a say. Sure, she could stop in-person sports in the state but my assumption would be that we'd just play all away games given there's really no such thing as home field advantage this year.

so any of the players that opted out...opt back in??

Now I'm really interested to see the schedule. Here's hoping we get OSU @ OSU. What a perfect year to end that streak in Columbus in front of no fans

I think Michigan is getting a lot of flack, but again this was conference wide decision. I do hope that the conference winner will be considered in the CFP, so that then people will forget about the late start... or are people still wanting realignment?

Now if the PAC will get in line
Have a gut feeling that they were working with the PAC to have them come on board as well.. but they have some other issues outside politics like an apocalyptic forest fire going on. Maybe the 24th game day was meeting them closer to the middle than the reported Nov 17th Pac date.

Without the ACC and Big 12 none of this would be happening and the B1G 10 would still be hiding behind masks and myocarditis fears hoping to play in 2021 or 2022.
