B1G November round-robin discussion ...

Ohio State is hitting its stride and has a team that's been there before. They're probably the favorite.

An undefeated Ohio State and Michigan would be fun, but it would be pandemonium if anyone undefeated UM still loses to Ohio State.
Tough to have an undefeated OSU and UM. OSU has lost already.

Their offense has been mediocre at best all season.

They struggle to run the ball. 3.5 YPC as a team.

Clifford has been meh. 12 TD/5 INT and hes 46th in the country in qualified passers when it comes to completion %

and he's light years better than what's behind him...

The "best team" OSU has played is actually Minnesota, who put up 30 points on OSU. This is the same Minnesota who only scored 10 points on Bowling Green, who is 0-4 in the MAC.

So yes -- OSU has played a trash schedule outside of Oregon.
the bowling green game was a bit of aberration for MN

Also, I realize most people don't pay much attention to MN, but Flecks strategy vs lower teams was bound to eventually catch up to him, he runs an extremely conservative vanilla game plan and BG was ready for their steady diet of simple runs up the middle

Still a bad loss, but I'd say MN is closer to team that competed with tOHSU than it is to the team that lost to Bowling Green

2019 Gophers finished 10-2 and then took Auburn out behind woodshed in Outback bowl, they struggled vs all 3 non conference and people ragged on it all season

I don't care how you twist it -- bowling green is HORRENDOUS. Eastern Michigan just put up 55 points on them last week.

so you can call it what you'd like, but that is one of the worst losses in CFB this year for a P5 school. Right up there with Washington losing to a FCS school.

It’s honestly probably the hardest game to explain of the season. UW is mediocre and Montana is good for FCS, that happens. Bowling Green is terrible

I agree it's an awful loss

I don't agree it's indicative how good/bad MN is

My hope is PJ learns from this

Look at 2019, gophers almost lost to South Dakota State, GSU, And Fresno. Fresno wouldn't have been so bad, but the other two.

and big part of it is PJ's game plan and approach to those games. He's content to just run inside zone over and over and over and other team knows it's coming.

It bit him

I assure you as a gopher fan it's maddening, but MN can win b1gW and it'll be footnote.

I think Minnesota is an alright B1G West team. I think they will lose to Iowa and Wisconsin. Get a bowl game out of it and Minny fans will be happy with that.

Possible

Iowa and Wi and don't have great offenses. I think MN splits, but we'll see

People like to say "Ohio State hasn't played anyone"

But who has fucking Michigan played?

Ohio State would be undefeated if they played garbage ass Washington instead of Oregon.

You disagree? You think that they have been tested. Exactly which teams they have played were a test. I'll wait.

pretty sure he is talking about Nebraska as a joke

How is that not being tested???

Mich st won because a punter kicked the ball to the wrong side
Mich won because of a fumble after 99.99% of the time the whistles would blow due to forward progress being stopped

Michigan State has a history of winning because of punter mistakes.

Don’t make excuses because your coach is intentionally ignoring a major facet of the game.

What does any of that have to do with tOSU not being tested? Let's just leave it at you were joking.

No one is saying otherwise. Whether done on purpose or not, the B1GE is back loaded with the 4 best teams playing all the others in a 4 week period. We are going to find out really quickly who the pretenders are ... PSU has already revealed that.
