B1G November round-robin discussion ...

What does any of that have to do with tOSU not being tested? Let's just leave it at you were joking.

It depends on what you define "being tested" as.

Someone was trying to tell me Michigan is "well battle tested" because of close games against bad Rutgers and Nebraska teams.

Ohio State could beat Penn State, Sparty and Michigan all by 21+ points and someone will still claim that they "havent been tested, havent showed anything impressive"

Has anyone said that Michigan, Michigan State or Penn State look like good teams?

Barely beating teams you should curb stomp is not being tested, IMO.

If they do that, then I will acknowledge they have passed the B1G test. Then comes what really counts when they go up against UGA, Bama, OU or other teams out of the B1G. We will then see if the B1G test was good enough. It's that way every year for all teams. Clemson ran through the ACC last year, only to run into you guys ... we could see they weren't really tested prior to your game, that's for sure.

FWIW, I expect that tOSU will win the B1G and if you do that beating UM, MSU, PSU and Iowa, I'll say your were adequately tested.

I didn't say anything about tOSU. the question was Has mich or Mich st been tested.
Agreed ... I conflated the 2 discussions. That said, neither MSU nor UM have been tested. If you think they have been, by whom?

Do you feel the same about Oklahoma and the relatively garbage Big 12? They are scraping by some bad teams.

At some point, we have to define what "being tested" means.

The first year of the playoffs revealed it. Everyone knew FSU was a paper tiger even with their undefeated season and the defending champ. Oregon exposed it.
