Did you know that Wisconsin lost 6 games that season, all by 7 or fewer points?

Um Wisconsin beat Nebraska in 2012 ~ so technically you are el wrongo.

The post he replied to was about scoring points in the playoffs. He should have put no West team has won it since the division shift and implementation of the four team playoff but he is a Michigan fan so...

If USC is truly "back" this time then they are going to own that division. If not, it will be more of the same. A top 15ish team coming to get beat by the East champ
USC has won the Pac 12, 1 time. if they go in and start winning the BIg 10 what does that actually say about the conferences?

It says that they didn't have Riley and a huge talent influx. Like I said, if they truly are back they will win the PAC this season.

Also, I didn't say win the whole B1G, I said dominate the West. There is a large difference

No kidding?? I don’t know what I would have done if you didn’t point out what I knew before originally posting it. Thanks for speaking for him also, I don’t know if he could handle answering for himself either?

I think the PAC 12 has changed the way they choose who plays in conference championship this season. So two teams from the same division could play for PAC 12 championship? So, they can't get a team in the playoff, they resort to this. No other conference is doing this. Is this weak? Am I doing this right?

are you new?

ACC Announces Football Schedule Model for 2023-26

MWC second to ditch divisions after NCAA ruling

Big Ten was considering it prior to USC and UCLA joining so not sure where that stands
SEC had been weighing different things including no divisions for when OK and TX join.

I did not, the leaders Division must have been wack that year.

Riley who was declining at Oklahoma after he took over Stoops players. still not sold on him and Rice and Stanford aren't a good measure

That was when it was Legends and Leaders. East/West started in 2014.

Also the CFP didn't start until 2014 either.

Doesn't matter. The amount on the check they cash from the B1G will be the same whether they are any good or not. That's the game now.

Seeing as how a B1G West team has never won the B1G championship, I'm thinking it will tough for them to get to the CFB playoffs to score points.
That was the point

The PAC 12 is doing it this season even though they have two divisions. So even if two PAC 12 south teams finish with better records than a north team, the north team is out. That is what I am asking. I understand the BIG XII has done this but they don't have divisions. The future ACC deal will follow a 3-3-5 model. So, if the PAC 12 is doing that this season, why is there a north and south division?

the change in rules came this off season. instead of reworking the schedules the pac decided to just keep scheduling the same but you are wrong there are not divisions

It's particularly bad this year. I suspect this year might be used by the conference to do away with divisions very soon. That combined with the west having 0 wins in the B10 championship game.

Sure glad Michigan finally got off the schneid.
