Just got my new roku for my last dumb rv tv.

They included a decal I can put on my truck window! 2 actually. One says ROKU and the other says I LOVE ROKU.

How thoughtful.
everyone loves stickers.

Yep. Up until two years ago, I was the same way.

Fortunately the main floor is faux hardwood for us

But I do need to grab a better vacuum for the basement

Hold on...a sous vide vacuum? I thought you were talking kitchen appliance.

I have no clue what you are referencing.
Oh never mind. Shark vacuum. But want a sous vide for kitchen.

I’ve been struggling with poached eggs. Read that a sous vide is how a lot of restaurants get perfect poached eggs. Cook them in the shell to a certain temp and they can stay there for hours. Then just crack them and they fall right out of the shell. That, along with being able to make restaurant worthy proteins seems worth the $100 to give it a try.

He loves the libs there

There's just something about boiling a steak that throws me off. But then again, I can't really grill steak now either.

Who boils a steak?

It sounds pretty gross. But thats what the sous vide generally does. And from the sounds of it, its restaurant quality

I have only tried making them actually poached once in my life and it wasn't great.

otherwise, I always had a poached egg pan.

just learn how to do a reverse sear. Much better.

For sure. But I certainly don’t want to be one of those statistical outliers.

Same reason I don’t smoke, try to eat good portions, stay active, take vitamins, etc. I’m playing my odds.
Prudent.

I have a couple Shark vacuums and they work great.

I also have a sous vide set up. It's not the be-all-end-all that some make it out to be, but it is a useful tool to have in the kitchen quiver.

I also have a team in the CFP finals.
