Movie Barbie (2023)

if the climax of this movie isn't Margot Robbie getting gangbanged by a bunch of Kens then this movie will go down as the biggest disappointment in the history of cinema

Barbie and Ken dolls have no genitals so now I hope this scene happens and its just them mashing into each other

This movie rocked. 5 stars. No. ALL THE STARS

Was hoping it would be appropriate for my young daughter, but after seeing a trailer with the beach you off jokes, I don't think it will be.

Was just about to post this.

Kinda bullshit that it's in the trailer, and that said trailer was shown at the Mario Bros movie, with my 11 and 7 year old.

I mean, it looked kinda funny, but it's obviously not aimed at kids. Or who knows, by today's standards, maybe that's exactly who it's aimed at? :noidea:

So now that its out, the question can be answered.

It's not for young kids. Not because its dirty or anything like that, but because the subject matter will completely fly over their heads. I guess that PG13 rating sorta fits because that's probably around the age I'd say a person would understand what's going on. Maybe some advanced (mature) 10 to 12 year olds. But the movie aimed squarely at adults.

I went to a 1000 matinee showing, so definitely kids at that time. they seemed to be engaged based off of them not making noise as if they were uninterested (unless they were asleep). As I was watching I was trying to figure out what is the target demographic for the film. Most of the stuff would go over kids heads. Hell, I was curious to see what it would be like based off the 2001 trailer, which is how the movie started off. The only time I heard a little girl speak up was when the narrator said *Note to filmmakers, don't cast Margot Robbie as your lead if you want to make this point (I forget the actual sentence, but you know the scene) and the audience was laughing and she asked her mom about it.

Ben Shapiro utterly destroys and eviscerates the Barbie movie for 43 minutes.

Funny as hell.
