Memorial Day and we got a triple header on ESPN. Of course, along with the three televised games there are a handful of other games being played too. So from morning until night it's baseball all day long.

I plan on watching games all day, don't even care the first televised game is Orioles/Twins and the night is topped off with Royals/Pirates. Shocked ESPN's morning game is Orioles/Twins as opposed to Rays/Yankees. They're bypassing a Yankees game??! Then the night ends with Pirates and Royals. How random is that!? But it's great by the MLB, start to promote and air different markets instead of the Yankees/Red Sox/Dodgers all day.

Well said. I’ll give credit because I think it’s due here....maybe ESPN is finally listening to the criticism. Maybe MLB helped convince them.

Either way....they might not have great ratings on these games. Will be interesting to see if they stick with this or bail to the ratings potential of going back to being a Red Sox/Yankees/Dodgers whore.

I'll do my part and just leave the tv on ESPN all day. If it wasn't for the weather delay in the Mets/Braves game last night, I was ready to watch that over the NBA playoffs. In fact, yesterday I watched the Dodgers/Giants and Mariners/Rangers far more than the Lakers/Suns game? Or whatever NBA playoff game was on at that time.

I haven’t tuned into any NBA yet. Not for any specific reasons, just haven’t found anything to get my interest up yet. Par for the course with NBA first round playoffs for me.

Having the fans back has made it way more watchable, but these first round games have pretty much all been blowouts that they aren't worth watching.

That’s a good point. I noticed just how much better baseball was with the fans back. I’ll look forward to that nice angle when I start to watch more basketball as the playoffs go on.

Besides the Red Sox/Astros game, the rest of the games were at least pretty good yesterday besides the fact they were made up of just bad teams.

I continue to be frustrated with this swing all or nothing approach. Guys are going 0-4 and seemingly not really caring. I forget what game it was yesterday but guy swings back to back times in the dirt. Think it was the Royals game where they had a runner on 3rd, 2 outs and announcers were talking about the guy at the plate thinking HR and there was a giant gap in left. HR?!?! How about make contact to the left and get the runner home. You dont need a HR every time.
