I believe the issue is that most of these tests are only able to test a certain level of viral load that takes a several days to build up. If they just came in contact with someone 2 days ago, there’s a good chance that the test wouldn’t catch it. There are tests that JUST came out that are suppose to test even on low viral loads. But maybe they are hard to get??

Either way, it seems like a major cop out to not have a game due to contact tracing. If we’re going to play that game, how many degrees of people are we going to do this with. Some kid in physics saw his parents, who saw their neighbor, who saw their in-laws, whose cousins tested positive?

this is what i was talking about when i said i would be surprised if they played the whole season. going into the weekend like 1/3 of all games that were supposed to have been played had been postponed or canceled.
