I'm calling bullshit. This is just classic BB playing everything close to vest. If he makes a few teams waste time game planning for a scenario that will never happen, it gains him a small advantage.
It also serves to light a fire under both QB's asses. Neither wants to platoon with the other and BB is likely just trying to get them to be their best now so he can settle on a starter.
