...its my competitive nature, nurtured at a very early age.
When I was 10, I got this Radio Shack flip number alarm clock.
It had a weather feature too.
The great thing about it was I could hide under the covers and tune in stations at night and listen. Some out of Texas, some out of Louisiana. It was daring.
I still have this today and it works fine.
That's 50 years, no problems.
I'm missing the weather feature knob.

Most of my toys were motorized. Dirt bikes and 4 wheelers en sech. That or my dad bought it for him and his drinking buddies disguised as a gift for me. Pool table and dart board en sech. But I got pretty damn good at pool for a while, but I played for the first time in years a few weeks ago and couldn’t make shit if it wasn’t a gimme shotLook at Chewy never having any toys or friends.

Had a close friend growing up whose parents were divorced and well-off. He had that and pretty much the entire GI Joe line from that era. Had a room in the basement dedicated to all of his toys/stuff.
Should've kicked his ass in front of his kid.Had a close friend growing up whose parents were divorced and well-off. He had that and pretty much the entire GI Joe line from that era. Had a room in the basement dedicated to all of his toys/stuff.
He grew up (and continued) to be a spoiled asshole and we're no longer friends.
