Big 12 beats the dead horse again.... horns down to be a penalty?

I thought their new coach wasn’t supposed to be such a bitch???

I would also like to use this spot make fun of 7-win Sark, but I’m thinking a Nebraska fan shouldn’t be the one to make fun of a coach who can only win 7 games.

i thought they did this the past 3 years in a row

“If you do a horns down to a Texas player as an opponent, that’s probably going in a foul?” Are they finally adding this to basketball or does this guy not know anything about football?

It really makes their pussies weep burnt orange discharge

If the @#$% officials have any common sense (I know what you're thinking) they will ignore a player doing the horns down in the end zone or some place that's not strictly "Texas territory". But if you're stupid enough to run by the Horns sideline doing the horns down thing then you (a) should expect a penalty and (b) expect an ass chewing from your own coaches. I don't think the Texas players would have a problem with that type of enforcement either.

This is really the point. It is about context and intent. You run to Texas sideline doing Horns Down it should be a penalty. If you run to your own sideline doing it, it isn’t a penalty. Problem is people see this same clickbait article that comes out every offseason and they think it is a black and white thing.

I agree 100%. Or to put the shoe on the other foot, I've got no problem with a Texas player doing the horns up when he scores or does something great like make a tackle for a loss on a 4th down play. I don't even mind a player celebrating a bit in the end zone but if he's doing the electric boogaloo in front of the other team's sideline then throw a flag. I've always appreciated how clean the OU/Texas games are played. Not a lot of cheap shit, late hits, etc. by either school in spite of the way both teams are hitting as hard as they can. That's class. 99% of the problems are with the fans who hate each other so much they forget good sportsmanship and common sense. Full disclose: In my younger days I was guilty of some pretty gnarly shit at the OU/Texas games. Now when I see other people doing it I realized how stupid I must have looked a few times.

Look...when you see shit like we see shit, you KNOW we are on the shitty end of the great majority of “judgement calls” made by BigXII zebras. Last thing we need is another tool in the pocket of refs like Van Vark to fuck us ever so gently on yet another important drive.

Pussification AND dirty pool happening at the same time. Fuck this shithole conference and all those in it.
