Big 12 beats the dead horse again.... horns down to be a penalty?

Look...when you see shit like we see shit, you KNOW we are on the shitty end of the great majority of “judgement calls” made by BigXII zebras. Last thing we need is another tool in the pocket of refs like Van Vark to fuck us ever so gently on yet another important drive.

Pussification AND dirty pool happening at the same time. Fuck this shithole conference and all those in it.

If the @#$% officials have any common sense (I know what you're thinking) they will ignore a player doing the horns down in the end zone or some place that's not strictly "Texas territory". But if you're stupid enough to run by the Horns sideline doing the horns down thing then you (a) should expect a penalty and (b) expect an ass chewing from your own coaches. I don't think the Texas players would have a problem with that type of enforcement either.
Well the end zone is definitely not “Texas Territory”

Nebraska: Hey tejas, lets make this work. Can you promise you aren't leaving...

Nebraska - Okay. its time to :bolt:
You have to hand it to them. They look out for themselves, alliances be damned.

That’s why it will be so satisfying when they have to SWC again. That or go it alone.

It will happen eventually. Watch. GOR up next year? ‘25? Then.

This is really the point. It is about context and intent. You run to Texas sideline doing Horns Down it should be a penalty. If you run to your own sideline doing it, it isn’t a penalty. Problem is people see this same clickbait article that comes out every offseason and they think it is a black and white thing.
And what about after a touchdown, horns down at the camera?
Because that’s been called before, multiple times in at least one game actually.

If Texas was winning this wouldn't be brought up but they're averaging 6 wins a year and suck balls so the bmd starting putting pressure on the ad which in turn asked the big xii to do something. All Texas peeps will deny it but..

lol on the shitty end of judgement calls?? Are you kidding me?

and now you are crying about a rule that doesn't even affect you.. I get why WV fans are upset about it cause they hammered them in Austin when Grier was QBing them.. but you?

you should go and get back with nebraska in the Big west.. then y'all won't be playing at noon anymore... oh nevermind, still would

Not sure the point. I have seen Texas player get called for doing Guns Up (Tech hand gesture). SEC players get called for the mock Gator Chomp. Saw a kid get a penalty for the SHHH sign after a TD. Stuff gets called all the time. Pretending it is a Texas only thing is just silly.

A hand gesture rule made for ONE team..

Anything like that in any other P5 conference?

The FSU chop should also go cause... it implies using a weapon. The Miami “U” is a gang sign so...

Matter of fact ALL hand gestures need to be penalized and by God we also need stricter dress codes for fans!

How about you try answering my question instead of pretending to be stupid because you want to defend this stupid rule.

And I never saw articles written and conference execs specifically mention the gator chomp and guns up while talking about penalties and how they’ll be called.

Pretending this isn’t Texas crying to the conference about this is just silly.

how about you try to not fall for the same click bait article that comes out every year? Media prays on the ignorant and it’s a shame when people fall for it every year like clock work. Tech isn’t mentioned, because nobody gives a shit about Tech. SEC has ruled its a penalty and people have accepted it, so why ask the question?

By the way, I always wanted to know why a school like WV would even care. I get OU, it’s part of their traditions. They even do it when they aren’t playing Texas, which I find funny. When I see random schools doing it, I laugh. I think they just look like little unoriginal wanna be punks. What’s the reason that fans like you get triggered every year over the same article that comes out of Big 12 media day?

What exactly have a fell for? It’s actual quotes from a member of the B12 office. Literally quotes.

Why can’t you answer the question? Should there be a penalty if an opponent puts horns down to the camera?

We all know why you won’t answer but you just continue to peddle how everyone’s against Texas and this has nothing to do with Texas complaining to Bowlsby.

An your response on this thus far is a large reason why so many hates Texas and their fans.

How about you learn to quote me if you want me to answer you.

As for why I care, WVU got 3 penalties for horns down to the cameras in 2018. Did you forget or are you just stupid? Among getting continually screwed by the refs in that game those penalties were awful. But we still won at the end so that gets forgotten.

Every year you say they bring up horns down? Prove it.

Prove what. I am not sure what your point is other than whining. Clearly it isn’t forgotten, since you are approaching the subject like a scorned lover.l. I know you and have seen your game thread posts. If a Texas player used a hand gesture to provoke West Virginia fans or players would cry for days for a penalty. Please don’t say horns down isn’t an attempt to mock or taunt, because it wouldn’t be done if it wasn’t. Like I said I get OU it is literally woven into the fabric of OU football, but you I don’t get other than you like to cry

Thank you for proving my point. You are too chicken shit to answer my question because you want to defend this rule. Why? Because you come off as a pompous spoiled little fuck that expects everything to be given to him.

Clearly it was forgotten by you because you don’t understand why a wvu alumnus that has seen his team get screwed from a call like this hates it’s even a rule. Ohh, and you still won’t answer the question.

So you can continue this “the wvu fan is just crying” charade and pretend you don’t understand why it’s asked. And everyone else will continue to laugh and understand why so many people think people that are UT fans like you are thin skinned pussies.
