I believe the team to watch in the future is UCF. Buuuut, they need a new coaching staff. The GusWhile it may be underwhelming, I think it could well be the most exciting conference to watch. All of them will be equal in nearly every category.
I believe the team to watch in the future is UCF. Buuuut, they need a new coaching staff. The Gusis takin them in the wrong direction. They have a 55K(?) stadium, one of the largest in person enrollments and in the middle of Florida recruiting area. They should be an up and comer but they need new new coaching. The goober there now has set them back a few years, IMO. With the 12 team cfp coming, UCF should be a playoff team most years, but again, they need to make changes.
Damn good question. Now that UCF is in a P5 conf. Frost might want to try it again. IIRC, over the decades, very few second time around HCs has worked out. Doubt if UCF will try that, but you never know.seriously... why not go after Scott frost again?

cause nationally nobody cares about those games.. and tbh their own fanbases most likely, doesn't care eitherThey only held on to AZ vs ASU, BYU vs Utah, Baylor vs TCU and Kansas vs Kasnas state for every year/
why not give permanence to a pair every year no matter what? like partner up 2 schools even if the pairing isnt some classic tradition.
Colorado and Oklahoma State
TT and Houston
Iowa State and Cinci
UCF and WVU
I’m totally not against this and I’d love WVU to visit Florida every other year because we recruit there quite a bit. But if I’m doing the pairs it’s:They only held on to AZ vs ASU, BYU vs Utah, Baylor vs TCU and Kansas vs Kasnas state for every year/

You May get some interest in old foes reuniting regionally but nationally this is correct, sadlycause nationally nobody cares about those games.. and tbh their own fanbases most likely, doesn't care either
i honestly applaud the new schedule.. I'm not in the camp of people making fun of it.. I really think they did a nice jobYou May get some interest in old foes reuniting yearly but nationally this is correct, sadly
I don’t hate it. I truly thought they’d pair us yearly with Cincy. And some others get paired too but it’s good with what we have to work with.i honestly applaud the new schedule.. I'm not in the camp of people making fun of it.. I really think they did a nice job
100%,While it may be underwhelming, I think it could well be the most exciting conference to watch. All of them will be equal in nearly every category.
I doubt very many nationally even care about those four "rivalries" either. In fact, there isn't a pairing that will move the needle nationally...unless the two teams are highly ranked at the time they play. Not being able to draw national audiences is the reason they'll never get a huge media deal. While several may play good football, they won't bring the eyeballs just for that. Only BYU can draw big numbers and only then if the LDS folks tune in.cause nationally nobody cares about those games.. and tbh their own fanbases most likely, doesn't care either
