Well Gabriel didn't have anything to do with 49-0 now did he. The fact that OU threw for 38 yards in that game should tell you how special he is. OU would have lost to the worst D1 school that day playing running backs and wide outs at qb. But somehow I think you already know that.

Yeah, but Spencer Rattler not only looked like he was from The Night of The Living Dead he got too cocky for his own good with both those cars, etc., etc. and everything eventually came down around his ears when he couldn't handle the pressure. Jackson Arnold has a lot of the same temperament that Baker Mayfield had but he's maybe, repeat maybe, got the same kind of talent that can be developed. Your boy Quinn Ewers is looking like shit right now but it's too early to write him off. And be honest: Arch Manning is playing against slower, undersized guys on Friday nights that are a far cry from what he's going to run up against in college. Every QB is a heaving crapshoot until he proves himself. Caleb Williams, Vince Young, Colt McCoy, Kyler Murray, etc. are all examples of guys who either became great or haven't proved anything......yet.

BTW I always liked this kid.. he's a baller for his school in San Antonio.. never knew why UT just kept him on the backburner for.. But when it comes to WR recruiting.. I just roll with whatever Marion and Sark choose to go after.. But I really do like this kid sooner or not
