Iowa State's been known to screw up an undefeated Big 12 team heading to the playoffs before. (This year's Iowa State team is the Big 12's version of last year's Cornhuskers. Their losses in the Big 12 have been by 7, 3, 1, 3, 14, 7 and 4.) Difference this time is they are NOT playing in Ames. On the other hand, the last time TCU whipped ISU in Fort Worth the last game of the regular season they were rewarded by falling from #3 to #6 in the CFP rankings.

Been a long, hard year. I'm not even going to watch. Heading to the Louisiana @ Drake MBB Game on Saturday. If ISU wins, I'll stop by the pub for a beer after I get home!

Fuck all that. I'm not donating money to bribe a kid to go to school. I'll give my money to a needy family this holiday season.

What's bothering me a little bit is I'm just not that bothered anymore with the shit show that was formerly known as Oklahoma football. Maybe it's maturity or maybe it's just not caring that much when a bunch of mercenaries are getting their ass beat. I'd obviously prefer OU to be winning but this is like watching hired guns go into town and get their shit blown away. It's the New Game and OU has to play it but I don't have to be as emotionally invested as I used to be. In the meantime, @MarkOU is right; help someone who really needs it this holiday season.

2009 was the last time a team from Oklahoma was not in the Big 12 Championship game.
