The Big 12 reached an agreement with Texas and Oklahoma allowing the schools to leave for the SEC in 2024. The agreement has some unexpected twists.

big12 fans are blaming ESPN for taking UT and ou away.. and also for not making them pay up.
Thing is, ESPN is the reason why they are still here. They are the ones that will pay the majority of the money for the new members, not Fox.
Of course ESPN wanted UT/ou to the SEC, but it set the new Big12 up nicely as it could
BTW @Red_Alert ESPN still paying UT for the LHN deal since it was guaranteed.. Big12 nor does the SEC get a cut since it was solely a UT property as a 3rd tier rights
