Big 12 thread

Seems the Big(insert number here) Brass kinda left their tiebreaker rules “open for interpretation” with the turmoil of “the exit”…. :dhd:

Then took a loss to this backup QB:

And finally the screw job by the refs that made DG throw an INT into double coverage and made him fumble a snap.. Darn Big12 refs!!

If only you could play every game like it was Dallas with the team coming out flat like UT did that day.. maybe these teams would not only fear God, but ou too? lol

To anyone who doesn’t believe in a conspiracy to screw OU and UT, what more do you need to see?

Supposedly, the Big 12 is going to meet today and clarify (i.e. change the rules) that KSU is in no matter what as long as they win out.

What are they doing? De-emphasizing head to head because OSU beat KSU.

They are doing this because they have lost faith in OSU, and they have two goals that they want to make:

1) OU and UT must not meet in the CCG

2) UT can’t win the conference, and outside of OU, KSU is the only team with a chance to beat them. Of course, KSU will need ref help and they will get it.

So to sum up, the Big 12 is changing the rules (or interpreting them the way they want to because the rules are vague), and they are doing this after 7 of 9 conference games are already in the books.

Unbelievable that they are going to get away with this.

After losing TWO, not sure we belong in the CCG.

…buuuuuuut…if nobody else wants to fuck up the cows, why not us?

Who would they rather play?
They pussies or something?

Everyone’s pissed off that OU and Texas won the lottery. So these Feeble XII losers are shitting all over themselves like they’ve washed down some gas station sushi with Mexican tap water. And now they want to put in The Fix for the conference championship game. Giving a damn about this move is a total waste of time----like shaving a yak. If OU or Texas get into that game you can bet the only way one of them wins is if they’re playing each other. Otherwise, Oklahoma or Texas playing in that game will be like going to hell in a straight line. By the way, take a good look at Brett Yormark because you saw him in a movie once. He played a mean banjo.

so if the unthinkable happens Sat.. and we lose.. we automatically fall down to 4th place? However if we win we automatically are in the CCG even if we lose next week vs Tech? If we lose this week we don't deserve to be in Arlington.. not trying to be a nerd and look at the combinations of what would need to happen if we lost this week

Shouldn’t be hard to wrap your head around.

Last time texas was in Ames they were blown out 30-7…

27-0 in the second half.

Last season at home they had texas beat if not for a fortunate break.

Over the last two seasons they held Bijan to 4.8 YPC.

It's going to be 50 degrees at kickoff and the texas candyass's can't cope.

Ooooh feels like a Blue Plate Special or are you going for the reputation triple lock?

so with 2 weeks to go you have TX with 1 loss and then 4 teams with 2 losses.
tx can bump Iowa state out of the running or Iowa state can make it more confusing by beating TX.
after with Iowa State or Kansas State would take 1 out.
at that point you have a 4 way tie for the 2 spots.
if TX stays ahead Iowa state falls off and you still have a 3 way if no one else loses.
so in other words shit show

That's the world we are living in these days... You'd think this was happening in 'blue states' - right? Change the rules to fit the agenda at a particular time. :heh:

Weren't the bi-laws voted on by all members ???
I don't think they can be changed on the whim of the Commissioner.

The team that gets fucked over in the end just needs to get an injunction for the CCG not to be played, 30 minutes before it kicks off.

A whole lot of bitching about what will happen if you lose a game.

This isn't a participation trophy league guys.

i'm laughing cause you know who's crying the most about this?? ou fans.. sure there are some UT fans on twitter against this but the majority of us don't care.. just win..

not everything is a conspiracy.. refs just suck.. ou fans cried about a blown kiss (in a game they won and got a break by the refs in).. then cried about Kansas where there was a deflected ball that was ruled a catch.. then they cried about a no call PI in the EZ vs osu..

Like get over it.. If UT loses sat or next friday.. we just suck and dont belong there.. Not gonna sit here and blame the conference for the 2 conference losses that put us in a trainwreck of a tie.
