Big 12 thread

especially in Kansas
I can’t see Texas winning out. It’s a really flawed team. Herman completely shit the bed. The last 2 years the Big 12 has been shit (this year maybe the worst Big 12 ever) and Herman has somehow found away to squander the opportunity

And it's not like we have been winning convincingly either. These wins have been pretty ugly.. but something just tells me Campbell is going to attempt to run the ball down UTs throat.. problem is.. Texas is becoming a stout running team. Purdy needs to continue his play from last week through the air. But Texas will keep them around even if ISU sputters offensively.. I have no faith in our offense right now. Feels like once we have something going..the playcalling will change for no reason and when the biggest downs are being played..we'll see walk on Kai Money out there on the field..smh

I'm going to have to agree with you totally. The level of play top to bottom is down IMO. Even though ISU is leading the conference, I feel last year's Clones were considerably better than this one. I think the same could be said for NEARLY every team.

Baylor - down a lot
Iowa State - down a little
Kansas - down a lot
Kansas State - same
Oklahoma - down a little
Oklahoma State - up a little
Texas - down a little
Texas Tech - down a little
TCU - down a lot
West Virginia - same

Some think the defenses are better this year. While that may be true to a certain extent, I think the offenses are worse which makes the defenses look better. Collective QB play is the worst I can remember for the conference in quite some time.

Yep the QB play hasn't been what it was over the past several seasons. But I do think Purdy can actually get good.. with the shortened season.. he really may be just entering his Brocktober self?

It’s just bad QB play and poor OL play. They kind of go hand in hand.

Damn shame too because outside ou, no one seems to have an OL that looks to improve heading into next season..Texas included. Conference was missing DEs, but over the past couple of seasons, DEs are beginning to emerge and get drafted.. Outside ou, OL is now scarce in the conference

TCU and Tech OL are about as effective as a screen door on a submarine.

How come those two goobers in front ain't eatin no popcorn? Turrible
And that dufuss in back can't even get the popcorn in his mouth. Turrible, just turrible

Hate to ask, but is UTEP done for the season?

another edit
With Alabama, Florida and Ole Miss, LSU is pretty much done.

Several opponents got the rona. Then this past week, the Miners have it. El Paso is one of the worst places in the country at the moment.
And talk about azzz-backards, the mayor of Juarez wants to close the bridges to keep them thar rona infested El Pasoans out of J-town. Who'd have ever thunk it?

Yeah my mom made me promise to postpone our trip to Plainview next month.. they are getting the worst of it throughout that area.. something crazy like one out of three people have it/had it.

So it looks like it's going to be ISU vs ou all over again?

Congrats on 6 straight Conf titles, dirt burglars

Yep. Guy I play golf with every week had a brother that lived in Plainview and got the rona. Lubbock hospitals were full and the closest hospital with beds available was Oklahoma City so they airlifted him there 10 days ago. His brother passed away day before yesterday at 57.

sorry to hear about that, feel for the family.

Texas best OL, Cosmi, has said fuck this shit and opted out rest of season and declared for draft.
