Someone is trying to Forclose on the Elvis' Graceland Home.
Saying they gave Lisa Marie a $3.8 Million Dollar loan before she died, and that she put up Graceland as collateral.

A Judge put a temporary stop to that crap this morning, saying it's in the Public's Interest to slow this down.

Looks like the signatures were forged, and the Notery that supposedly signed it said they did no such thing.

The Dollar amounts don't even add up.
Priscilla could probably raise a hundred million dollars tomorrow with a 'go fund me' account.

Don't be fucking with Elvis.
Seriously.
The fans will fuck you up.

Graceland is the 2nd most visited home in America, right behind the White House

Can't they look at her expenses and bank statements to see if the $3.8m was ever even paid?

That is criminal behavior. Will anyone get charged if true?

Looks like mortgage fraud. The lender may have loaned $3 million, but not to Lisa Marie. They got taken.

Now deed fraud is common. Some crook may forge your signature to a deed or loan application, sell it to some mark, or default on it and now someone comes to your house saying they're the owner, or a lender comes out to foreclose on your ass. Think of the expenses for fighting that shit.

I enrolled with the County Recorder's Office here to get notified if any document is filed concerning my parcel or which has my name on it.

Pretty sure this happens all the time to elders, but usually it isn't a big enough case to actually get caught.

And if you have elder parents then you should take steps to make sure they can't enter any legal agreements without your signature.

Nope. Like all the other scams in that are continually run in the U.S., no one will be charged. Because it's Elvis and his granddaughter, they get quick relief. A more appropriate response would be that the scammers and lawyers who bring this suit are immediately relocated to the interior of an active volcano.

I like to imagine there are scammers all over the world right now pissed that someone got out in front of their skis by fucking with someone as massive as the Elvis empire. Pissed that the curtain was pulled back and a spotlight shone on this scam. No doubt going after someone as beloved by many as Elvis will get some in congress to put some teeth into those who commit these crimes.

You mistake the intentions and level of ineptitude of our government. It pats itself on the back for going after higher minimum wage for menial jobs and targeting "junk fees" imposed by airlines and hotels. Americans would be a lot more cool with bullshit like more expensive Big Macs and stupid fees, if it meant we actually prosecuted and punished real crimes with the existing laws on the books.

I've said for a long time that if you throw one Fortune 100 CEO in jail for crimes his company committed then there is going to be a MASSIVE cleanup throughout all companies from CEO's wanting to avoid the same fate. No longer "eh I didn't know those people were selling junk bonds marked as AAA and making billions for us every year. Oh well".

Sounds too much like common sense. Risk managers have figured out that pathway long ago, which is why those same companies have lobbyists working to ensure that there will always be an army of lawyers preventing prosecution of crimes against big companies. I don't like it, but it's probably nothing that doesn't go on in other countries. I'd settle for just the summary execution of the squatters and phone scammers cheating old people out of their retirement funds.

See that little window and fake balcony? That's the bathroom where Elvis fell over and croaked in front of.

That's the plot of the Beekeeper movie.
Let me guess: Jason Statham is an ex-special forces vigilante who avenges his mentor's being victimized by going after a terrorist group. Forces in the government don't like that he's making them look bad and maybe they're tied up with the bad guys, decide to also come after Statham. Statham kills them all, and probably goes swimming.

Does he at least kill anyone using bees?
