GAME BIG CCG 2022 • #2 Michigan vs Purdue • 8ET • FOX

2020 disagrees. Just bc Michigan ran and hid doesn't mean Ohio State played badly.

I didn't give them much of a chance against Bama that year but it became zero when the guy who had over 500 yards rushing the previous 2 games went down on the second play
Michigan should have forfeited that game ... the canceling is bullshit. I say this as a Michigan Fan!!!

I think I would have had a little more trust in it too had they let the conference determine they were above the threshold and cancelled the game per the current (but stupid) guidelines. That's how every other game was cancelled that season. Michigan just went the route of "we don't have enough players, trust us".

IMO, Covid saved Harbaughs career at Michigan. Had he had a bad season with another loss to Ohio State that year, I'm not sure he survives

He seems to be a good fit for them. Curious on how he would do at a big time program with less patience. Seems to me he might be in that Fitzgerald or dantonio mold where he just gets the most out of what he has a lot of years but wouldn't do well in the spotlight
I think he's good there and hope he is also. Significantly better program than WK and he could turn them into perennial Division contenders.

I think you're right.

After the 4 years he had at Purdue at a bigger program? Would have been fired most likely, even with 1 of those being the 2-4 COVID season.

Money talks though and he doesn't have the ties to Purdue like Fitz does at NW and Dantonio was just too old to care.

If he keeps producing, a bigger name is gonna offer him so hard to turn down cash

True, a lot of coaches are into that but some just want to have a reliable place to call home.....I think he may be one of those. And Purdue isn't an elite program but they may decide to give him a nice raise so he doesn't leave.

Just googled it and Brohm has the 8th best salary in CFB.

Wow.
