Big snow coming to DFW

Its refreshing to see Handi actually post one of his own vids

BTW, you are a shit head

In the NTSB report that came out about that, they found that as the crash began the cars in the left lane were averaging 100mph. I'm nervous going that fast on a dry and sunny day, never when it is dark and raining, and DAMN SURE not when it is below freezing.

99% of the time it's some asshole in their first 4WD SUV doing that shit. Used to laugh my ass off at how many spun-out SUVs I'd see sitting in the medians during/after the first snowfall.

Agree, and no joke it is usually someone from a snowy climate that is zipping around and causes it. 15 or so years ago got to hear it first hand. Was going into work on 114 here in the metroplex and I was in the middle lane doing about 35mph because it was slushy and ice and this little Saturn comes up in my rearview mirror, pops into the left lane just short of my bumper, then jumps back into the middle lane a few feet in front of me. Not more than 15 seconds later as we go under an overpass (so a shaded area) and he starts to drift and I see his brake lights come on but he doesn't slow down. Goes around and ass first into the lane divider and caroms back across and onto the shoulder.

I slowly made my way over and checked to see if he was alright. He bounces out of his car cursing a storm and I can hear the thick minnesota-ish accent bitching about me being in his way. Told him "ok, as long as you are safe you have a good one" and rolled up my window and left. Fuck that guy, driving way too fast and not realizing our ice isn't the snow his carpetbagging ass is used to. Gotta watch those bridges/overpasses/underpasses.

Yep. We have the same problem up here. People think that just because they have 4WD they can drive through anything. Yeah, you can get around in snow, bet when it comes to stopping you have the same issue of a 2WD.

i.e. Ice is unforgiving.

being heavier I always assumed stopping the 4wd is harder. Got a few extra hundred pounds to stop.

Then again it's harder to stop if you have no traction.
