Bo finally speaks...again....on the rigged Big 12 Championship game

Cracking Up Lol GIF by HULU

Have to give props to Nebraska fans for finally moving on from bitching about 1997 and bringing their bitching into the 21st century. Now - quit bitching about a game from 13 years ago against a team you don't ever play against, from a conference you no longer play in.
You have more to bitch about than anyone in CFB with the progress of your program in present time, yet it seems these threads are always about 10 years ago or 20 years ago. Cringe.
They’ve moved on to bringing up the fumble in last years Michigan game. “They should have blown the whistle!! “

LOL @ the best Texas team of the last *-17 years struggling for over 2 & 1/2 qtrs, at home, to put away 8-5 UCF.

*-Counting the 2022 season.

struggling? lol the final score was 35-3 and this was coming off a win vs 13th ranked osu. Sorry that they didn't appear to want to be there for you guys as much as y'all wanted to be there, apparently

Not a fan of Bo Pleeny, but to be fair they don't put that 1 second back on the clock at any other point in the game except maybe a play before halftime. Even at halftime they likely only put that 1 second back if a team is within scoring range.
The game also had NC implications so there was extra motivation to get it right. Don't put that 1 second back up and we're talking about tejas getting screwed out of the opportunity to play for the NC.
It was the correct call. The clock stops when the ball hits the turf or out-of-bounds somewhere.
However, if they were to analyze the clock (timeout for further review) every time a QB throws an incomplete pass, the games would take 5 hours.

I'd much rather Suh won the Heisman that season than Nebraska win that game on a questionable call.
Nebraska put themselves in position to lose that game with a kick-off out of bounds and a personal foul that put tejas in position to kick the FG.

At any other time in any other game, when the ball hits the ground, the clock always ticks to the next second because th current second is already partially over. In this case it would be 0:00.

I was watching this game and couldn’t believe they put that second back on. The ball hit when part of the last second had elapsed, so for consistency sake, should have been game over.

Unless playing in Chapel Hill. For those games, the clock manager would just stop the damn clock with 3 seconds left.

This seems to make the most sense, however, I think the ref's will always tighten up the calls in a close game late.

Just let it go. I remember that game. The ex and I were dating and we went to the Cities for a fun vacation/Christmas shopping experience. Not that important but important enough that I remember watching the 4th quarter after she went to bed so it's kind of a where were you when it happened moment.

Y'all got screwed. I was pissed about it because fuck Texas but no question you got screwed. But it was 13 years ago. It's beyond time to move on.

It's not like Nebraska has had anything noteworthy since then.

That was their last second of relevance
