Bob Knight was an asshole, knew it and completely owned up to it. Which is what made him hilarious

There are other college basketball coaches that are assholes, know it but try to act like they are good guys. That makes them 100% lame.

And to Bobby's credit I do think that he did all that he did and coached the way that he coached with the intention of developing his players as men. A lot of coaches seem to believe that their first and only priority is to win games. I think Bobby cared about what his players would/could become as much as he cared about what they were doing in the moment, even if what they were doing in the moment was making him curse like a sailor
