BOOOOOOOOO MLB

No one actually cares who wins or loses, it's basically a mid season party to celebrate and enjoy baseball, and giving fans a chance to see all the best players.

Anyone who takes it too seriously one way or the other is just sad.
That sounds like something a National League fan would say.

Since they’re always losers.

who was the color commentator for the HR Derby?

He was annoying.
Karl Ravich? Idk.

It wasn’t Chris Berman. He couldn’t do the call now with the timer. Multiple balls are in the air at the same time.

the guy with Karl

but yea, I would mute it when Berman was doing it

Which call is that, "Hey Leather, you're with me!"?

Kills me every time I think of him saying that

edit: I had it slightly wrong, it was "You're with me, Leather"

that's fine.

they still play those to win, don't they?

I will say that I have been to an ASG and it was pretty boring. I think the festivities surrounding the whole thing is a lot more fun.
Spring training games played to win? Not really. At least not all the time. I’ve been to one or two that ended tied and….just ended.

Do the players on the field play to win? Of course. Do managers manage to win? Hardly ever. They aren’t going to switch a batter they planned on going up for a pitcher matchup too often in spring when the purpose is to give the planned batter the rep.

I don’t even remember that one from him.

Just the back, back, back, back, back…

Thankfully the All Star Game no longer affects home field advantage in the World Series.

Easily the stupidest thing Bud Selig ever did. And that is saying something.

Certainly wasn't offended or anything like that. To be honest when I responded I thought that you knew that the pronunciation was the same and just posted the joke too quickly and had a momentary brain fart on the whole reading vs. hearing aspect of it
It's all about the process eh.
