Bowl Game opt outs.........

It is the 2nd oldest bowl. IIRC, it is the only one CBS still broadcasts. And Bernie Olivas and the rest of the Sun Bowl crew do a great job of treating the teams well. The teams arrival greeting is very, very festive at the airport. Sometimes too festive. Here's a more recent picture looking the the same end zone after Larry Durham built them a new complex. The glass is the weight room which looks to the South over the Sun Bowl, part of the campus, downtown EP and Juarez as well. Great view....especially at night. Well, great view with the exception of those warm winter days/cold nights with no wind. The inversion causes the smog to settle right there and it looks like LA or Phoenix.

So now Boise is opting out of the Arizona Bowl, and Central Michigan is lobbying to go play Washington State in the Sun Bowl

lol it really is homer. I have conceded maybe it is nice any other time of the year but there should be an amendment to the constitution prohibiting the Sun Bowl from being played in El Paso.

again you have no idea what you are talking about. Sun Bowl is perfect at El Paso.. beautiful weather at this time of year, great food and a really nice bar scene. If you want the dark side of fun, just walk across the border
 
Looks like Oregon and @OregonDucks have opted out of trying in the Alamo Bowl
 
It seems like I have opted out, too. Haven't watched a minute of a bowl game, yet.

Me too, except for the OU/UO game. It was on and watched some of it. Don't see any other bowl games I'm going to watch. Maybe Baylor/Ole Miss.
 
Probably not that game either. Didn't OM lose their OC? their hot shit QB has opted out. Baylor gonna pound that Rebel ass.
