A co worker of mine bought a Mercedes suv about a year ago and kept her Honda CRV thinking she and her husband would give it to a grandkid. The grandkid fucked up and they changed their mind.
So she has driven it a few times to work and her retired husband has driven it a little but only a few thousand miles in last year and they wanna sell it.
First off you gotta know the type of person these people, especially her, are. Want to throat punch her because of her detail. Fuck that Mary just get the job done is something that comes to everyone's mind when she's around. Every detail of that car has been taken care of. On schedule maintenance out the ass. Repainted hood because of stone chips after a trip, Yada Yada.
2017 CRV, under 140k on the clock. Totally loaded AWD with a moon roof. Easily can get another 150k on the thing.
Now it's sitting in my drive. I know I got a good deal but sux to fork over the money. I paid 14k.
I bought it as a long timer for the kid as he is down the home stretch in college.
Last night on way home with it he told me his current vehicle's break light came on. I told him I would take care of it. He has a 2011 equinox with 200k.
Talk about timing. But I knew his car was not going to last the winter without putting money into it.
