Breaking: Tomorrow is the last Saturday without football

The real NU is Northwestern.

On the topic of strictly academics and nothing else? Yeah, sure. Why not.

In football, the title of “NU” would probably go to the Nevada Wolfpack before it would go to Northwestern.

90+% of NU grads successfully complete grad school.

Most Nebraska grads are homeless bet losers or who live in America's asshole which is Texas.

Got some final yard work finished this weekend, so I can clear my football calendar.

I'm watching last year's Carolina - Clemson game, nobody spoil it for me

You mean you actually have living grass up there? Grass down here has been dead for a couple of weeks. Next Thursday they are calling for a 43% chance of rain. I'll believe it when I see it.

Yeah it crunches when you walk on the lawn. Brutal summer and hardly any rain.

My entire offseason is doing this very thing. Been a very long offseason even with the conference stuff going on.

64 degrees this morning in southern WV.. grass is fine, feels strange hearing/seeing all the reports of how hot and dry it is everywhere but, we cant say that here. Really weird summer, June was cold/wet for that time of year, July had its moments as far as decent heat but then:

Took the kid to meet some kids for mini golf this morning, had the temp set at 68 in the car, then felt HEAT coming out the vents to get UP to 68... In the middle of August! WTH is goin on?

Ahhh...... don't see much of that here. Very few people here have under ground watering sytems. Maybe a few of the richers. We're 30 miles from the Gulf and generally it rains often enough to water everything.
