You can be a lazy recruiter and still lock up a bunch of talent at LSU. Really, LSU is the only program that has such a natural recruiting advantage thanks to location and lack of in state competition. Them and UGA can sleep walk and land top 10 classes

I know you aren't counting Georgia tech as in state competition

Not in the last 15 years as far as recruiting goes. They used to get to talented players under Chan Gailey, but Reggie Ball was a dookie QB.

Remember when he tried to make a joke and show himself to be funny and it didn't work out too well?

Well he has doubled down on that.

Chan's last recruiting class was quite good (#15 on 247, #18 on Rivals). Those guys (Nesbitt, Dywer, Derrick Morgan, Morgan Burnett) should receive a lot of credit for Paul Johnson's early success at Tech.

Tech's location says they should be having great classes every year, but once you take Tech's profile as an institution in account it downgrades the potential quite a bit. Still think they should signing classes ranked anywhere between #15-#35 in a given year.

not technically in-state but Clemson is right on the Georgia border. So is Auburn.

I'll give him those ones due to proximity. I feel like most of the south competes against each other now. In state doesn't mean what it used to

He left them better then he found them, sure, but he was (and is) not good enough to get to championship level. Some people are about to find that out

This munchkin is a big a fag as there is in CFB.

Always been indifferent to LSU in the past. That’s changing quick.

If I were a top high school football player, that would eliminate LSU from my commitment
Oh Boo-hoo. That got you upset? haha
Well you would be too thin skinned to play for the Tigers anyway...
