Brian Kelly

I guess I should be mad. He made Nd relevant again. He seemed to be a great coach m-f but he drove me insane on gameday. Interested to see who they replace him with

God damn, I was wrong about my statement in the other thread.

This is fucking crazy, I mean, ND still has a very realistic shot of making the playoffs.

Y'all poached a Cincinnati coach last time...

I reported this on that other thread. Sure it ain't rumors...

great hire.. People make fun of BK cause of ND, but that job is the toughest to recruit thanks to all the restrictions due to academics and background checks. BK will be able to now work in the blackmarket for any kid

No idea why you would want Kelly.
Kelly wants money and budget so that part is easy.
Have you seen our last 2 coaches.

His WL record over the past 5 years are comparable to Riley's with more stringent rules for admission.

Auburn and Georgia basically did the same with tougher competition. They might as well hire Malzahn.
Kelly, 60, is the winningest active coach in college football and the winningest coach in Notre Dame history, surpassing the legendary Knute Rockne. He led the Fighting Irish to a 45-14 rout of Stanford on Saturday, raising his record to 284-97-2 in 31 seasons overall and 113-40 in 12 seasons in South Bend. His .742 winning percentage is behind only that of Alabama coach Nick Saban among active FBS coaches (.802).
