Well, in fairness to Kelly on this issue, he didn't have much of a choice at ND with all the priests & admin dictating this.

Prolly another reason he saw 'the greener pastures' at LSU/SEC.

He wants a natl title and he's prolly more liable to get it at LSU than at ND, mebbe.

ND restructured BK's contract a couple of years ago, but wouldn't release the details of his paycheck/options. I've gotta assume all that money LSU was throwing at his feet had quite a bit to do with Kelly leaving. $9.5 mil per year isn't peanuts.
