Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys dead age 82

Dude kinda sounds like a pussy TBH. I don’t really think verbal abuse is a real thing. You’ve got a mouth too, put it back on em, and if the abuse was physical, he should have just whipped his old man’s ass when he got grown.
dude...you sometimes come off as having the mental aptitude of a child.

Not a big fan of The Beach Boys, but they were among the first to recognize Glen Campbell’s guitar skills
We can agree to disagree about verbal abuse. And maybe, its my fault for the phrasing and I should have said emotional or psychological abuse. You gotta keep in mind that happened in the 50's and even in Cali-forn-i-a, kids didn't push back on their parents with that generation.

I am not a huge Beach Boys fan by any means, but much like the Beatles, while not a fan I can appreciate the innovations or impact they had on rock music. But he was born with some pretty profound mental health issues that at one point were diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenia

Glen Campbell was part of the Wrecking Crew at that time. Practically everyone was using them or similar groups when they were recording in the studio. That being said, he was a virtuoso on the guitar

Sounds like a soft generation to me

Sure does

I guess its a good thing they didn't have cell phones for binky's, satellite tv, social media, and blanket label anxiety. They would have never made it
good thing they had Vietnam to toughen them up

By the time you're old enough to realize that it might not be normal/OK you've already put so much effort into getting used to it.
