We can agree to disagree about verbal abuse. And maybe, its my fault for the phrasing and I should have said emotional or psychological abuse. Glen Campbell was part of the Wrecking Crew at that time. Practically everyone was using them or similar groups when they were recording in the studio. I am not a huge Beach Boys fan by any means, but much like the Beatles, while not a fan I can appreciate the innovations or impact they had on rock music. But he was born with some pretty profound mental health issues that at one point were diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenia
