Bruce Smith vs Reggie White. Who ya got?

The solo tackles is a bit misleading because Smith played in a 3-4 his whole career and took a lot of snaps standing up like pseudo-OLB.

Reggie had a year of USFL too. Assuming those aren't part of his numbers.

On size alone, I'd prolly go with White. But there isn't a wrong answer in this. Incredible players.

Actually 2 seasons with Memphis of the USFL..

As a member of the Showboats, he racked up 23.5 sacks, one safety and one forced fumble recovered for a touchdown

If you’re asking me which DE I want to start my franchise with....yeesh. I could debate all day. Both were such amazing players. Obviously the deciding factor would be if I planned to go 3-4 or 4-3.

But, all of that aside.....as much as I loved Bruce Smith the player I cannot turn away from Reggie. Reggie gets the nod
