Bundesliga 2024/2025

More bad news. Upamecano got injured too. Had surgery and out 6 to 7 weeks. His season probably over too. Leverkusen living the dream right now. So best center back and left back done.

Going to be out for months. Sucks. Even Davies pissed at Canada. This really bad for Bayern. No other left back like him. ACL the worst. Davies probably won’t be back until 2026 probably. Bayern need to sign Theo Hernandez. Bayern going to lose to Inter. No Neuer either. Hopefully they can hang on in Bundesliga now. Would like those Union and Bochum games back now.
Upamecano out for “weeks” as well.

It’s now up to Ito, Dier, and Guerreiro.

It is up to Kompany to figure out how break low block park the bus defenses like Union did so the defense does not have to limit the opposition to 0 goals.

Got to hope Davies returns with the same speed. Millions of examples were an ACL never the same. Frederico Chiesa, Robert Griffin, blah blah blah. Juju Watkins at USC this weekend will she be the same?

Why do you say he is pissed at Canada? For playing him?

Goretzka is backup CB I would imagine behind Dier and Kim, with Ito having functionality there as well. Not sure if Pavlovic is over the virus he was battling. I'm not only concerned about the Bundesliga, regardless of being in the UCL still.

I read the story that’s doing the rounds on Davies. I don’t believe he was necessarily pressured, but if he felt he wasn’t fit to play, he should’ve said something.
Still, even without him in the lineup they looked miles better than United States on Sunday.

Sounds like he agreed he was fit enough but his relationship with Canada soccer not great right now. His agent is pissed. Marsch getting a ton of flack. Qoute from the Atlantic after World Cup:

What’s also of concern is how there is another public stumbling block between Davies and Canada. Between his documented issues with previous coach John Herdman and a name/image likeness rights battle, their relationship hasn’t always been the smoothest. And this latest chapter could serve as a distraction for both the team and player as 2026 World Cup preparations ramp up.

Palovic getting better but the dude needs to take more vitamins. Injury prone and gets sick often.

Kim injured too at least for Korea and coach blamed Bayern. Bayern just needs to score more than one goal. Lack of consistent offense is the biggest problem.

Given the salty climate in North America right now, and the fact that it’s going to be played in all three countries, it’ll be interesting to see if anybody goes to the US to watch it. It could become a big money loss.

Problem with USA men is soccer is like 4th priority on list of sports. I watched Argentina a few nights ago and Germany this past week. The USA will never ever come close to these teams. USA kids get IPADs and Nintendo and South American and Central American kids get a soccer ball. It is what it is.

I am going to fly to see Germany. My son an airline pilot. So we are flying for free and staying in cheap motels. The tickets will be the big cost.

Meanwhile, I think Canada is developing into a pretty damn good deal. They’ve got many players over in Europe. The guy who scored the winning goal against you guys on Sunday has 20 rolls or something this year all competitions. He’s not a Yamal but who is?

I would never make the Haj across the 49th in the first place. Going to the states is not high on my list of things I ever want to do.

But I’m on the list to get whatever tickets might happen in Vancouver. And if I don’t get any of those, I’ll be more than happy to just watch every single game on TSN.

Was reading this morning Bayern may sue Canada soccer. When he returned to Munich no indication of an ACL until Bayern doctors looked at him.

Kim Upa Davies Neuer all out tomorrow. Looks like Bayern will have to outscore teams . Tough task with this team’s wingers not including Olise. Time for Musiala and Kimmich to earn those new contracts.

He was OK to play against the states. Whatever we had against Mexico was not an ACL it was more like a hamstring. Shit happens all the time in these Friendlies. I don’t think Bayern has a leg to stand on being pissed off.

If Bayern do not beat St. Pauli tomorrow, they will collapse and Leverkusen will win the league IMO.
Kim playing thankfully. St. Pauli the perfect team that Bayern will blow it. One of the best defensive teams and can’t score. Sounds like Union. Teams like Leipzig and Dortmund who attack Bayern wins
