Dfb Pokal starts Friday. Bundesliga the following week. Not too thrilled about Bayern offseason. Becoming a second class citizen now. Today sold De Ligt and Mazroui to Man U. Davies turned down final offer of $14 million today and Real supposedly preparing a $35 million offer. Bayern lost out on Olmo, Simons, Doue, Gruda, and Tah breaking down. Got Paulinha and Olise and Ito who promptly broke his foot. All the high priced junk Coman, Gnabry, Sane, Goretza still there. And a center back pairing Upamecano/Kim with Dier. Scary. Seeing a lot of goals allowed this season. I see Bayern at best 3rd this year behind Leverkusen and Dortmund and just ahead of Leipzig. Unless the deadweight re-invents itself. I just don't see it.
 
Bayern vs Ulm today. DFP Pokal....but at least a meaningful game back on to watch. Now until May. Hopefully Harry Kane fattens his stats today, but no guarantee he plays. Still not completely fit.

Well Bayern sells Mazroui and Stanisic tears a ligament in his knee. Boey also injured too. Ito too with a broken foot. Hmmmm no right or left backs now. Also, holding Leon Goreztka hostage so he leaves. What happened to management of this team? You can see it coming. Next season Wirtz signs with Real Madrid with Alonso coaching and Musiala goes to Man City. You just know. And we were dreaming of a Wirtz / Musiala midfield in 2025.

Missed the game yesterday but read defense was shambolic. As I thought, the center back pairing of Kim and Upa will be a disaster this year. Kim especially was brutal yesterday. Lucky to escape with a win.
 
Well the Transfer Window shutting. Not going to speak for other leagues like Sterling, Osimhen, etc being stuck in no mans land, but this is Bayern Munich. Bayern are now stuck with a shitty defense starting Kim and Upa. I cringe thinking about how this season will go. Lots of 5-4 4-3 games this season. Max Eberl Bayern President happy, but saw this great quote linking pop culture. Oh so true:

Leverkusen streak over. Got the kind of luck today they never had last season. Blow a 2-0 lead (could have been 3 with Boniface miss) and then VAR decision on potential penalty in injury time not given. 3-2 losers to Leipzig lol. Hoping for more of this. Good that Bayern didn't sign Tah either. I see a one hit wonder last season.

Muller 710 appearances just now. All time Bayern record. Doesn't need a 710th appearance to be the Mount Rushmore German legend he is.
 
And Muller scores...of course. Celebrate your 710th appearance like that. Been there 24 years lol. 10 years old lol. Bayern legend of legends.
 
After watching Germany (especially Wirtz and Musiala) dismantle Hungary today, it is now a necessity to sign Musiala long term and Wirtz long term next summary at Bayern. Break the bank...I don't care. Do it for Harry..he desparately needs a trophy!!! Probably both will not wear the Bayern shirt within a year or two, but I can dream. Do it for your country though. Both play together at Bayern is the best thing for Germany too. Especially 2026 World Cup.
 
3 games in Bayern on Top. So far Vincent Kompany era good. UCL this week so we’ll see how that goes.
 
Michael Olise what a player. 2 goals and 2 assists. So refreshing to have a winger again who can pass and shoot. Have not had that since Robben and Ribery.

Barcelona might have gotten a little easier. Ter Stegen ruptured Patella Tendon. They have no decent backup. Stuck until January. Just as Neuer retires for Germany and he finally gets the Germany job.....oooooooofff.
