Not much. International break. Glad to see you here. Now I try to find the Germany games this week if they are on. Sometimes on FS1/FS2.

Bayern look like they may win the Bundesliga this year. Other teams are down this year. Kane might get his trophy.

What are your thoughts on Kompany? I have been up and down on him. The high line has been problematic against good teams, but consective clean sheets, maybe that is resolved. Bigger issue is figuring out how to break teams parking the bus. That has been an issue the last two but talent won over.

Other than that we are watching the negotiations to extend Musiala. A must imo. Try to sign Wirtz also and team him with Musiala. A must for Germany.

What a beauty Musiala scored last game. Absolutely stunning. I really like this squad. I can't believe Neur is still goaltending at a high level. Dude seems like he's ageless. The defense has played better recently than from last season it seems. And I agree with you that I think Bayern is going to win the league this season.

Musiala has really picked it up this season. Still dribbles a little too much at times. But he is a generational talent. Neuer I don't know. Had that epic howler last season in UCL semi final versus Real Madrid. Didn't look great against Barcelona this year too. Might need to recall Nubel next season. We'll see how things play out the rest of the year. But Neuer is the GOAT. Inventing the sweeper keeper position.

Over the last few seasons I have have not been happy about the wingers. Sane inconsistent. I pull my hair out watching Sane at times. Can't make spot decisions and gives away the ball too easy. But when he is on, he is on. No doubt the talent there physically, but the brain not always there. Coman can't shoot on target. Probably the most annoying player. Always injured too. Send him to Saudi Arabia. Gnabry same as Coman. I miss Ribery and Robben. Those two were lethal. Olise, up and down, but at least his shots on target. I have high hopes for Olise. Good signing.

I was a big hater on Kim and Upa up until this season. Upa a red card machine. Not sure what happened to Kim in second half last year. Better this season, but both Kim and Upa lack pace so I don't know. Phonsie probably going to Real Madrid. That is ok. Not the same player from 2020. Also, what to do with Kimmich. I am on the fence about re-signing him. No way for $20 million. Won't play right back his best position. With Paulinha, Pavlovic, Musiala, maybe Wirtz next season, I think maybe Kimmich and Goretza on the way out. Take too much salary.

By the way, I am very German as my mom born there. I root for Bayern, but Hannover 96 and Hamburg SV my family clubs but both in second division. I root for a team that I know can win Champions League and that is Bayern. Next summer back in USA for Club World Cup. Saw them in Carson California in summer 2019. Will try to fly around USA next summer to see them. Also, 2026, I will fly around to watch Germany in World Cup too. I root for USA, but Germany is better and more likely winning trophies like in 2014.
 
No thread for it but a huge 7-0 win for Germany the other day and nations league qualifying.

Yes. Two were penalties. I did not know Paulinha tore a muscle playing for Portugal. Both number 6’s injured now. We are back to Kimretzka for the time being. Actually Goretzka one of the best players yesterday along with Moose. 6 straight clean sheets.

Next 3 games: PSG, Dortmund, Leverkusen.

When Wirtz and Musiala play together, they look good. Both together for the next 15 years .. hopefully at Bayern too.
 
The only soccer I was able to watch today was a Barcelona game. Lewandowski potted one, but they went down a man and gave up at two goal lead to settle for a tie. No Yamal playing for them today.

Real Madrid closing in. 2 games in hand. Yamal injured for Barcelona. Yamal the most important Barcelona player. When you look at Yamal these days, it is Mbappe who???? Mbappe not even good enough for French Team...who looked fricking good during Internationl Break without him. Totally trashed Italy.
