That's my point. Georgia's screwed forever.

They'll have to supplement what elite Georgia talent they can keep in Athens with California, Texas, and Florida 3*'s.

Yes -- he has 3 commits for 2023. All 3 five star recruits. All 3 had been OU recruits.

You do realize the kids in state grew up cheering on their in state school. In California, the big one is USC. They have been a train wreck lately, so recruits were leaving the state (like Texas kids to OSU). With Riley now the HC at USC -- the overwhelming majority of those kids are going to stay in Cali. And it becomes exponentially harder to pull those recruits out of Cali.

THAT is why elite in state recruits are so huge and an absolute must have to be a national power in today's CFB.

As I asked earlier - name me the school with little to no in state talent that has won a national title in the last 10 years? In the last 20 years?

CFN is all about recruiting.

NIL is killing OU. Just think if just the 2 legacys, Dindy and Overton came to OU like they were supposed to the turnaround we could have on that side of the ball.
 
BTW why in the hell is everyone not working today? Snow day?

So what? UCLA and Stanford will be fighting for 3* scraps.

The elite players are ALL going to USC. Riley's got them "Locked Up".

I posed that question to someone on the OU staff and their answer was losing those two guys had more to do with all the chaos that was going on in the OU program than anything else. It was just really terrible timing. No one believes that if the same situation occurs after things settle down that Oklahoma won't be able to get guys like that.......especially with the SEC thing coming into the picture. Ya miss a bus, another one comes along later. :sigh:

I've done 8 interviews today and have 2 more still scheduled. No idea why everyone else is so chatty. :happy:
