Can we stop pretending OU is good now?

normally when people get "attacked" and a coach is complaining.. they must have got the worst of it? But maybe he didn't mean that, I mean he def was going through some shock that Aranda kicked that FG anyways
Riley has never been in the position to need 'points' to get into a CCG.

Let there now be no more argument whether Lincoln Riley is softer than most OU fans prefer. Barry Switzer was edgy as F and his teams reflected that. Bob Stoops started out as a fire breather and his teams were tough. But Bob got fat, rich and lost his edge which bled over into the way OU started playing. Sometimes coaches mature and get tougher (guys like Nick Saban, Urban Meyer and Tom Osborne). But most of the time that's in your personality from the very beginning or it just isn't. Riley is not a guy who is ever going to make people fear him. He's smart though. But sometimes being tough is needed......not a total a-hole but "tough" when it's needed. I'm a little concerned Riley's main weakness is in some ways he's just too nice; he never cracks the whip even on the sidelines.

his wife is cheating on him with the landscaper.. who is a Texas fan..

and damn what a soft player if he got beat up by 3 baylor dorks rushing the field

Who is good this year? Georgia...maybe Cincinnati? I doubt that...

Let's face it...

There is not a lot of difference from teams ranked number 3 through 25.
Ohio State is looking really good right now.

I'm not entirely sure we have seen worst this team is capable of.

I am absolutely sure we haven't seen the best this team is capable of.
That means something is fucked up.

If the talent is there, the coaches aren't getting it out of them. If the talent isn't there, it was the coaches who recruited them. Always look at the coaching first when a team is under achieving assuming injuries aren't the problem. EVERY team has some injuries and coaches often use that as an excuse for under achievement but OU's not been that banged up to the point where we're helpless. No, the players on the field are not playing very well and the freshmen DB's might have an excuse but no one else does. Coaching. Same thing in business; don't blame the workers if things are going to shit. Look at the management team.
