Can we stop pretending that Ryan Day is anything but an average coach now?

Dude was handed one of the most talented rosters in all of college, 16 five star players in the last 4 years, has arguably a room of the best skill position players in the game and lost to 2 of the 3 good teams he faced this year. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets the old Ed Orgeron treatment in a few years.

I have been to 3 Michigan-Ohio state games counting the most recent one. I was sitting in the OSU Alumni section. You would have thought they were informed the world was ending by their reactions. "Fire Day" "This should have never happened" and my personal favs, the old go-to "We got screwed by the refs".

Reality time. Michigan won Saturday. I was happy for that. But it's ONE GAME. This was the first win since 2011. Again one...game. You can't win 'em all. On one hand I do hope this is a sign of change in this rivalry because it really hasn't been much of one for almost a decade. If you are a fan of college football you want good healthy hateful rivalries. On the other hand Buckeye fans...get a grip. You lost. It happens. But I get it. You get used to winning and after almost a decade you just assume its a foregone conclusion that is, until it isn't.

No one needs to be fired. Instead look forward to this again in 364 days

It feels like you've had that in your back pocket for a few years now.
No, that was this. I was saving this idea for the longest time and deployed it perfectly. I couldn't have timed the post + results more perfectly.

Let's see how he fares with the Bears before we jump to conclusions
No one seems to want him. All this openings around the country at major institutions, not a single one has talked about Day.

This - - - @MAIZEandBLUE09 (and, frankly, Jim Harbaugh) both are acting like the blind squirrel who found a nut and strut around like they founded Nuts.com.

If your team finally won after this long of a dry spell you would strut too. And history lesson, after getting ass blasted for almost a decade by Michigan, Ohio State fans and Tressel did the same thing.

Yeah, because I'm sure you were super pissed when Day guaranteed he'd hang 100 on us and condemned his childish comments....

Harbaugh beat the shit out of Ohio State and had every right to throw in some salty comments at Day. OSU fans have been talking shit for two decades, harbaugh says one comment and now they're like, "He should be more professional". LOL it's the best.

Day's comment wasn't public, nor was it meant for public consumption. It was said to the team and someone let it out. Do I wish he had not said it? Sure.

Harbaugh said that they (Michigan) would move on with "humble hearts" and then totally contradicted himself with that passive aggressive nonsense. One of these things is not like the other, but then Harbaugh has always been somewhat of an asshole, so not surprised.

Gets to gloat for the first time in nearly a decade. Live it up.

See, this spans more than just this game. It mentally changes every single game against OSU in the near future. We can win this game, and every player knows it now.

Every single OSU coach before him has said shit, time to take your medicine. One of Woody's most famous moments was the "because I couldn't go for 3" comment.

Just don't trip on your dicks in the CCG.

Let’s get Nick’s take on this….

I personally don't care about the CCG. Sure I want to win games because that's fun. Bu I legitimately don't think a national title could make me feel as good as what happened on Saturday. None of this matters now.

Tell me you're a fan of a team that has never been in the CFP without actually telling me.
