I like the Audi's, but if I go with a luxury SUV, it will be the Mercedes GLB or GLC. Wife loves the emblem too much, and I don't want to argue for no reason. I test drove the GLB and it felt nice.

we liked the GLC, but that back was too small for the dog so ended up with Audi Q5

That was a classic. Some guy came out of nowhere to revive a months-dead thread about Miatas. The thread naturally had a lot of "chick car" jokes in it.

I'm pretty sure to prove how straight and manly he was, he was going to fight and/or buttfuck every dude who called the car gay. Come to think of it, it may have been @SlinkyRedfoot, or one of his proteges.

we we have a 2018 Audi Q5

We looked Mercedes GLC, a BMW X3, Volvo XC60, and one other I can't recall. I wanted the wife to look at a Mazda CX-5 signature series, but by time we were supposed to go I knew she had her heart set on Audi...

GLC probably would've won if it was a little bigger, the GLE was too big (we sat in one).

Volvo XC-60 was runner up.

Hoping to get 10 years out of the Audi

Doesn't seem like you're gone, just post later in the day. Seems you've gotten a little into the night shift here, too.
 
Cooking for a sick friend of the wife's, found out daughter's in-laws are coming to town for a day, son is moving on out.

May have to clean this joint up.
 
Got up at 1:30 go go golfing yesterday afternoon. Had some rust to knock off but was playing pretty ok by the end of it. Had an eagle opportunity on one hole, settled for a birdie. Smoked my 5W on the second shot. Felt great.

I feel like making brisket, but I'm not big on left over brisket and seems wasteful

I loved driving a manual. Had one for about 10 years. It's been awhile now though.

Makes great omelettes the next day. I'm going to make an effort to try and empty out the chest freezer this spring/summer. Don't think I have any unseasoned brisket in there. I am doing my corned beef stick-up right meow, though. Makes for a nice couple days of leftovers. Cooked some corned beef last night, looking forward to hash for breakfast over the weekend.
