CFP Qu & Semi sites/teams determination

Semi sites are locked in (and have been so since before the season).
In the 4 team playoff the lowest seed was able to pick. Guess they changed that with the 12 team format. I Googled and could not find a story regarding it.

Thank you - check this out. The highest seed will receive preferential placement for the Semi Finals. If Oregon beats tOSU, their preferential placement will be to play Texas in Arlington.

That’s not my question. My question is if they are locked in to the current draw as seen on some draws… or does the highest seed get to choose the site out of the two?

That middle bullet doesn’t answer whether it’s a choice by the highest seed… or if the CFP committee decides what is “preferential”

I read it as they pre determined “preferential” you are fucking welcome ;)

I know it’s been beaten to death, but this fucking alignment is asking Oregon to beat tOSU on neutral field, UT in their backyard and then beat UGA in their backyard. SMH

So much for being undefeated and #1

The games will be neutral because the fans in attendance will make it that way. Stop crying. 😆

I live in Dallas - no way a Texas game in Arlington against any team in the field would be neutral.

I thought y’all travel well? Tsk tsk

Oregon doesn't travel well...at least not on the scale of tOSU, ND, UGA, Bama, etc.
Hell no. If my West Texas edumacation is right, it is quite a bit further for Duck fans to travel unless it is in Pasadena or Phoenix.

That’s why if they were able to choose whether it’s tOSU or Oregon they should pick the Orange Bowl, just to make UT fans travel.
