GAME CFP R1: 9 Tennessee @ 8 tOSU • 7c • ABC

Why even try to kick that?

Why would Vols not have a guy back there?

Thank god it’s half
Buckeye coaches way. I like Marcus freeman but he tried to kick a 61 yarder at the end of the niu gm

Ryan Day should know his kickers’ range and we all know that slapdick can’t kick past 50. Bonehead decision

As crazy as it sounds -- I was excited when our FG kicker announced he was coming back next year. He was the best player on our offense :pound:

Guy was 17/18 on FG and 7 for 7 from 50+ with a long of 58 yards, i think (Don't quote me on the 58, could be 56?)
There’s one thing I can say about UGA, for as long as I can remember, we’ve always had at least a pretty good kicker with all having big legs

If Tennessee scores a TD to open the 2nd half we are losing
You have two drives that didn't end in a touchdown, one was due to a questionable no call. The only thing Tennessee can manage on offense is QB draws and scrambles. If OSU finds a way to lose this, lol.

No chance you lose this game. Tennessee's offense is built around Sampson. He was the offensive player of the year in the SEC and has only played 2 snaps. They can't rely on running their QB 30 times.

We lost our kicker to the NFL after 2023, picked this guy up in the portal from Arkansas State and the guy has a cannon for a leg and never misses. His only miss was a bobbled snap that threw the timing off. Even the 50 yarders he makes -- they aren't just clearing the bar, they are hitting the net.

That is a huge weapon to have.

this is a very uncomfortable 11 point lead
Tennessee lost their best player on offense. Their QB run is all they have right now. Nico can't figure out where to go with the ball if his first read isn't there.

Ohio isn't losing.

Otoh, I bet on Ohio State

Oh he knows where to go with it, its just that the WR's are unable to work a little harder to get open. They are just ...not great:noidea: ok but not great

Thorton is also an injury waiting to happen. and right on que....

Going no huddle is brilliant against these lazy ass d tackles

Man, not tricked there. Buckeyes doing it.
