Very slim chance ... games that should matter

LSU/Georgia
Michigan/ohio state
North Carolina/Clemson (twice)
TCU must win out
USC must win out
Tennessee must win out and pray
If there is a two loss team everyone will look toward Alabama (My opinion the 2nd best team in the NCAA).

That's nine teams listed there. Sure would be nice to add another three teams and let it fly on playoff fields. I can't wait.
 
They might actually get their 3 team SEC playoff this year

If TCU loses, USC loses and UGA loses to LSU in the SECCG it would be very possible if not likely.
 
If I have to take a very late look at this season as of now. No bias, no trolling, etc. I can only see it going one way:
Georgia wins out. Even with a loss, they are in, but I doubt Kirby is telling the team that.
Ohio State wins out. Yes, Michigan looks good, maybe better and the Wolverines won last season. I just feel it is a tall task to repeat in Columbus.
Tennessee will win out.
This last spot I can't be sure on. Clemson wins out. Big damn deal. They will end up beating UNC who beat a lot of other crappy ass teams by less than 7. They might reach it. They do not belong. I say the Ohio State/Michigan loser should be in this spot if it is a competitive game. But the CFP will say the B1G was down this year and blah blah blah. I mean if the Buckeyes win, you gonna tell me the CFP is gonna drop Michigan below a 2 loss team? Drop them below a possible one loss TCU team that came nowhere near playing the #2 team this year. Ever. Behind a one loss Clemson that got blasted by a team that lost to a team that friggin lost to Stanford and Marshall (at home)?

I can see two firsts here. LSU can be the first two loss team in the CFP and the SEC can be the first conference to have three teams in the CFP. The SEC CCG very well could have an impact on every other conferences' chances of getting a team in the CFP....sans the B1G. They probably get a team in even if the East winner craps the bed in the CCG.

The Big 12 controls its own destiny, if TCU wins out they are in.

The Pac 12 might be screwed, even if USC wins out there is a good chance they get left out for Tennessee or UGA (If they lose the SECCG)

I think the ACC is out at this point unless some fuckery happens. Even if Clemson wins out they aren't getting in over USC or a 1 loss SEC team.

I don't think Michigan is getting in with 1 loss, they MIGHT consider Ohio State if they lost a close game to Michigan, but they don't see to care much for Michigan. Still think it would be 3 SEC teams before 2 B1G/2 SEC teams though in the scenario where TCU loses, USC loses and LSU wins the SECCG.

I could see 2B1G/2SEC if Michigan wins out. I think the committee would think more of an 11-1 Ohio State than 12-1 ACC, Big 12 and PAC 12 champions. The monkey wrench in that would be if the SEC finishes with a 11-2 LSU, 12-1 Georgia and 11-1 Tennessee.

Ohio State eeked out a win against Northwestern and we're going to anoint them the second-best team in the nation.

Tennessee would beat the shit out of them.
