CFP Rankings

B1G will likely get exposed, as it always does. Oregon and Ohio state have a punchers chance at winning it all, but PSU at 4 and IU at 5 is hilarious because both schools would be lucky to be .500 in the SEC.
Sir, you also just had your B1G Homer Card revoked. You can’t speak such heresy.

Screw all of you. All I want is:

1. Ohio State to beat Michigan
2. Ohio State to get into the playoffs.
3. Ohio State to beat whomever gets put in front of them in said playoffs.
Thank you for that. I would not have guessed an OSU fan wants OSU to win all of their remaining games.

SEC is crazy. Texas wins out and they are probably a 2 seed. They lose 1 of the next 3 and they could be out of the playoffs.

I am just curious where Pitt and Iowa State are in the talks. I am not saying they should be there. I was looking at other rankings of former BCS people and the like and wondering how far they are out of the committee's top 25.

Pitt
mcubed: 24th
CPI Ratings: 22nd
Massey: 31st
Colley: 24th
Massey Composite (a lot of rankings averaged out even though some are power rankings): 28th

Iowa State
mcubed: 46th
CPI Ratings: 24th
Massey: 19th
Colley: 26th
Massey Composite (a lot of rankings averaged out even though some are power rankings): 22nd

Pitt and Iowa State both took their 2nd losses to bad teams last weekend. They are both non factors at this point and rightfully so

for them to get the 2 seed they would have to win the next 4 games sir

South Carolina too high in this poll. They lost head to head vs LSU, at home even. Sure, big win over A&M, also at home, but the other ranked teams they've faced, all losses.

Your schedule bro

Win the three remaining on the schedule, we're in the playoff, just not a top seed if we lose the CCG.

Lose a game, we have to depend on other teams losing too.

I was thinking about that part also. Yeah, they are non factors in the 12 team playoff. To think what could have been with these two teams, and they piss it away to inferior competition.

I think both have to get to their CCGs and win. With that I'd say Pitt is presently at the mercy of how well SMU (5-0), Clem (6-1) Miami (5-1), and Louisville (4-2) finish. Iowa State's (4-2) could be really wacky. BYU (6-0), Colorado (5-1), Az State (4-2), K-State (4-2), West Virginia (4-2) and hell, even TCU (4-3), Texas Tech (4-3).

Both BYU and SMU are vulnerable because they really aren't tons better than any of their opponents. BYU has Kansas, @AZ State and Houston left. And it looks like BYU and Iowa State have the most difficult schedules remaining. Colorado and West Virginia has the easiest left IMO. SMU has BC, @Virginia and Cal left. Pitt's remaining is difficult with Clem, @Louisville and @BC.

I'd put Okie Lite ahead of both in the Pissing Away the Use of Good Talent contest. Gundy lost the team, insulted the fan base and generally shit the bed all at the same time.

Here we are in year two of Coach Prime, and we're talking about their path to the Big XII CG

Not only that, they could well make it into the CFP. I think they will. Think about a team that got completely waxed by Nebraska making it to the CFP. Thanks to a very below par Big 12.

They are somewhat the Big 12's version of the Indiana and Penn State thanks to Utah, Oklahoma State and Arizona turning out to be duds. Their Big 12 schedule: Baylor, UCF, K-State, Zona, Cincy, Tech, Utah, Kansas, Oklahoma State. Baylor went brain dead and got beat on that Hail Mary.
