CFP Rankings

In theory. They’re gonna have to do a better job of balancing schedules though. Ohio State plays Oregon, Penn State and Indiana, none of Oregon, Penn State and Indiana play each other.
No one predicted Indiana to do this well. No way to account for that.

All year I have said these playoffs may come down to which QB gets hot over the last 3-4 games. Not a lot of QBs projected to the playoffs that I trust for 3-4 games
I agree. I don't see much clamoring from the NFL regarding this crop of QBs.

Howard and Gabriel may be the most reliable. But they may just look that way because of the players they have around them.

Total chaos is actually not that far fetched

You could have Tennessee lose to Vandy and then Texas beat A&M then beat UGA in the SEC title game. Then you have just ONE SEC team with <3 losses.

Could the ACC get fucking 3 teams at that point? With SMU Miami & Clemson.

1 3 loss SEC would still have to get in more than likely in that scenario, it would be hilarious watching the fight over which one it should be.

Since we've all agreed there aren't "elite" teams this year (whatever the hell those are), could we apply the old poker adage of "If you have a chip and a chair, you have a chance" to this year's playoff?

And you and I have seen Howard. He tends to make 1 or 2 dumbass plays in big games

He does but i'd still probably take Howard over the field outside of maybe Gabriel.
Like I said, this group of college QBs don’t move the needle much. That may not be fair because that group last year was pretty good.

Stop trying to get UTEP in

Bama will probably beat Auburn by like 3 TDs and we will get the predictable "Bama makes case it still belongs with dominant win over Auburn!" headlines. From the usual suspects.
It's disgusting.

Unless uga loses to gt they are in

Who gonna get screwed tonight on the rankings show? What will be the most used phrase tonight to brush over the shit that unfolded this past weekend?

Teams that should be ranked higher:
Georgia
BYU
Texas A&M
LSU

Teams that should be ranked lower:
Notre Dame
Clemson
Ole Miss

Looks about what I expected it to. It’s clear they don’t want Indiana in but the SEC teams imploding makes it impossible to leave them out unless they lose to Purdue

ASU @ tOSU would be sweet

So, you want Ole Miss to be ranked lower than South Carolina? An Ole Miss team that beat South Carolina in Columbia by a score of 27-3?

H2H isn't everything to me. South Carolina has a better resume at the moment. I felt Georgia should have been rated higher than Ole Miss lat week too.
